50 Years

Incorporated in 1974, Beverston Engineering has built a reputation for precision and quality in the manufacturing industry. Over the years, we have grown from a small operation to a leading provider of engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors. In 1978, Rod Wah joined the company, marking the beginning of a new era of growth and innovation. Just three years later, in 1981, Rod became the sole owner and employee of Beverston, with a vision to steer the company toward greater success and expansion.

Turning point

A pivotal moment in Beverston’s history came in 1986, when we were approved by Lucas Aerospace as a supplier, securing our first venture into the aerospace sector. This milestone set a precedent for our continued excellence in high-precision engineering, as we strived to serve sectors where reliability and accuracy is paramount..

Innovation

In 2020, we took a major leap forward by launching our Industry 4.0 Smart Factory project. By linking all our machines to a central server and installing touch screen PCs at each station, we enabled real-time machine monitoring and digital production scheduling. This move has significantly enhanced our operational efficiency and allowed us to deliver even higher quality products to our customers.

Talent

We believe in investing in the future of our industry, and we are committed to training and developing the next generation of engineers. Our apprenticeship program plays a key role in nurturing young talent, providing hands-on experience in cutting-edge manufacturing. We are proud to offer opportunities for apprentices, mentored by experienced professionals, becoming an integral part of our team.

Our future…

Looking to the future, we continue to invest in cutting-edge technology. In 2023/24, we committed £600,000 to further expand our capabilities with machinery and software designed to streamline and increase capacity. We’re proud of our heritage, our talented team and what has become a family business, we are excited for the future as we continue to lead the way in engineering.
